MUST Students Participate in A Study Tour on New Energy Intelligent Connected Vehicles

To deepen collaborations among universities in Hong Kong, Macao, and mainland, and promote integration of industry, academia and research in the fields of new energy and intelligent connected vehicles, the Student Affairs Office of MUST has dispatched Ma Le-ning (FMD), Chen Hao-jin (FL), and Ye Jia-ren (FA) to participate in a Study Tour on New Energy and Intelligent Connected Vehicles. Hosted by Southwest University, the seven-day study tour attracted over 20 students from Hong Kong and Macao.

During the study tour, students paid visits to the Beibei Campus of Southwest University, Baidu Apollo Go (Chongqing) Technology Co., Ltd., and the intelligent factory of Changan Automobile Global R&D Center. Along the tour, students have gained a systematic understanding of the complete ecosystem of China’s new energy vehicle industrial chain and deeply experienced the robust competitiveness of “Made in China with Intelligence.”

 

Besides technological exploration, cultural and natural experiences were also included. Students learned about geographical evolution and biodiversity of Chongqing at Chongqing Natural History Museum; and immersed themselves at the Fairy Mountain in Wulong.

 

This study tour has provided opportunities for exchanging ideas with fellow students from universities in Hong Kong, Macao and the mainland to deepen mutual understanding, and built consensus among young generation for joint development.
