"Ten Thousand People's Scheme" Exchange Project
Introduction
To enhance the cooperation in talent development, research and cultural exchange between universities in Macao SAR and the mainland of China, Ministry of Education of China extended the reach of “Ten Thousand People's Scheme” to institutions in Macao. The Scheme provides funding to higher education institutions in the mainland of China to support Macao students and teachers to participate in exchange and academic programmes in mainland.
To enrich the university life experience, broaden horizons, and promote exchanges between teachers and students from mainland higher education institutions, universities actively participate in this program. The program categories include short-term/summer courses, academic seminars/competitions, cultural investigations, social services, internships, etc., with activities taking place in various provinces and municipalities across the country. It is expected that through various interactive exchanges and different forms of practice, students can gain knowledge beyond the classroom and thus enhance their overall qualities.
