Introduction
The Postgraduate Association of Macau University of Science and Technology is a non-profit student-governance organization and one of the student societies registered with the Macao Government. Its aim is to uphold the University motto “Dedication to practical studies, Enhancement of knowledge, Ability and Quality” as its mission, to promote the formation of a good campus academic and cultural atmosphere; to safeguard the rights and interests of the university’s postgraduate students, and to facilitate their comprehensive development; to establish friendly social connections with various sectors in Macao, domestic and foreign relevant institutions and organizations, enhancing the sense of belonging of the University’s postgraduate students towards their alma mater.
The Postgraduate Association is composed of the Presidium, the Council, and the Supervisory Board, which respectively exercise decision-making power, executive power, and supervisory power.
Eligibility for Membership of the University’s Committees
The Chairperson of the Postgraduate Association on one’s representative shall serve as a committee member of the University Student Affairs Committee and the Student Discipline Committee of Awards and Penalties in the capacity of a student representative.
