To promote understanding among students from Hong Kong and Macao, experience the modern hydraulic civilization, deepen cultural exchange, Ms. Kao Chong I, Facilitator from Student Affairs Office of MUST, participate in the “Three Gorges of the Yangtze River” social practice camp with nine students. The event, hosted by China Three Gorges University, attracted over 30 students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Mainland, through which students were enabled to gain a profound insight into the majestic power of China’s national marvels, and explore the deep roots of Chinese cultural heritage.

Participants gained a deeper understanding about the history of Yangtze River through lectures, and also had hands-on experience on Tai Chi and Chinese traditional tea art. What’s more, they visited the Three Gorges Dam, the world’s largest water conservancy project. Everyone present was deeply impressed, expressing profound admiration for the wisdom and boldness of China’s water conservancy engineers.

By joining this summer camp, participants deepened their knowledge and understanding of the Three Gorges, and gained a profound perception of Jingchu Culture. Moving forward, teachers and students will continue to build a bridge among the youth of the Mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao, dedicating themselves to the nation’s prosperity.
