The annual conclusion meeting of the Social Service Team (SST) under the Student Affairs Office of Macau University of Science and Technology for the 2025/2026 academic year was successfully held on the afternoon of May 12 in O206. The event aimed to review the service journey of the academic year, summarize work achievements, share service insights, and build momentum and clarify direction for the upcoming year's social service efforts. At the beginning of the event, student hosts Hu Jingxuan and Li Zheguang opened the sharing session with warm and relaxed greetings, guiding the team members to reflect on the memorable moments of the past academic year. From on-campus new member recruitment, various lecture trainings, and experiential activities, to community care visits and public environmental protection promotions—each scene captured the team members' dedicated presence and service footprint. These images evoked fond memories of every service experience and once again made all team members feel the power of walking together as a team.

Afterwards, Dr. Wong, Head of the Student Affairs Office, delivered a speech. She fully affirmed the meaningful and enriching work carried out by the SST over the academic year and then expressed her earnest expectations for the personal development of the team members. Starting from the university's five key requirements for students, encouraged everyone to uphold the spirit of "broad knowledge and clear discernment, sincerity and dedication"—striving for innovation in academic studies, cultivating a sense of civic responsibility while growing, broadening their international perspectives, spreading warmth with compassion, and fulfilling social responsibility through concrete actions. At the same time, she placed high hopes on the team's future, expressing her wish that the team could launch themed services on campus such as "crime prevention and fraud awareness" to further expand the positive impact of social service.

Next, Vice President Li Xinbei and Ma Lening delivered their speeches respectively. Li Xinbei provided a comprehensive review of the team's work over the academic year, summarized its strengths and weaknesses, and shared her outlook for future development. Ma Lening looked back on her five years with the Social Service Team, sharing her personal experiences during service activities, reflecting on the insights and heartfelt moments she gained, and expressing sincere gratitude to all team members and teachers for their support and dedication in various tasks. Outstanding team representatives Wu Yufei and Song Feiyang also took the stage to share their own reflections on service over the academic year. Drawing from their personal experiences, they spoke about their original motivations for joining the Social Service Team and the impactful activities that left a lasting impression on them, collectively expressing the sense of fulfillment that serving others has brought them and their renewed understanding of life's value.

At the end of the event, all members took a group photo together, capturing this rewarding and heartwarming moment through the lens. Team members expressed that the annual summary and sharing session not only allowed them to look back on the past and consolidate their experiences but also helped them feel a strong sense of team cohesion and belonging. They are now full of anticipation and confidence for the coming year's social service work. Looking ahead, the MUST Social Service Team will continue to uphold its original mission, carrying out more warm and meaningful social service activities with greater enthusiasm and more practical actions, passing on the spirit of compassion from one generation to the next.
