2025-2026 Macao University Track and Field Championship was held at the Olympic Sports Centre from March 27th to 29th. The 22 athletes dispatched by the Student Affairs Office of Macau University of Science compete fiercely and achieved outstanding results, bringing home 1 gold, 4 silver, 2 bronze medals. The championship was organized by the Macau Universitarian Sports Association and co-organized by the Education and Youth Development Bureau.
The most thrilling moment came in the men’s 200m final, Shen Yuze, from the Pre-University Program, crossed the finish line first to secure the first gold medal of the tournament. Huang Xin (MSB) claimed silver in the men’s 110-metre hurdles; He Lexuan (FA) took silver in the women’s high jump; Wang Chaoran (FIE) earned silver in the men’s triple jump. In addition, the women’s 4x100 meter relay team, comprising Gao Huaijin (UIC), Wang Xinran (FA), Niu Danning (MSB), Hu Yue (FIE), and Wang Xinyi (FMD), also won silver, finishing just one second behind the lead. In the Women’s 3000 metres, Niu Ningdan displayed remarkable stamina to claim the Bronze Medal; in the Men’s 5000 metres, Tang Rundong (SLA) sprinted hard to also secure Bronze Medal, with both athletes standing together on the podium.
The Student Affairs Office of MUST has long promoted campus sports culture, organizing the University Sports Day in March and October 2025 to offer more students opportunities to participate in competitive sports. From campus grounds to inter-university tournaments, MUST fosters students’ perseverance and teamwork through sports competitions, making health and vitality the most beautiful scenery on campus.
