“To Relax from Academic Stress Workshop” for Helping Dormitory’s Students to Reduce Academic Stress
For learning stress management skills and increasing study efficiency, Dormitory and Life Experience Team, and Psychological Consultation and Counseling Team of Student Affairs Office has jointly held a workshop called “To Relax from Academic Stress Workshop” on 27th and 28th November. Our faculty members aimed at encouraging students, living in dormitories, to stay positive in their study and exams.
During the workshop, our psychological counselor guided students to conduct group discussions and sharing related to stress and its reduction techniques. Faculty members provided a platform for students to share themselves and to encourage each other. Many useful stress reduction techniques were introduced and guided to experience by our psychological counselor, including Box Breathing and Muscle Relaxation, to help students reach the state of relaxation.
Through the participation in workshop, not only have dormitory’s students acquired the ways to handle academic stress, but they also have enabled to keep good mental states in their study and life. Dormitory and Life Experience Team of Student Affairs Office will hold similar activities to promote mental health and development for our students.
