On November 25th, 2024, Macau University of Science and Technology held the Scholarship and Grant Awards Presentation Ceremony in Block D, Conference Hall. A total of 27 sponsorship organizations awarded 30 scholarships and grants to 367 outstanding students at the ceremony.

The President of MUST, Chair Professor Joseph Hun-wei LEE, highlighted the institution's unwavering commitment to innovation over the past twenty-five years. The Macau University of Science and Technology is dedicated to fostering interdisciplinary research and cultivating high-quality talent for society, with a relentless pursuit of excellence that consistently elevates its academic development to new heights, yielding remarkable achievements. Furthermore, the University is diligently advancing its internationalization strategy. President Lee conveyed heartfelt congratulations to the award-winning students on behalf of the University and expressed profound gratitude to all the supportive organizations and individuals who have contributed to the University's success over the years.

Koc, Cheng In, delivered a speech on behalf of the scholarship recipients, expressing profound gratitude on behalf of all awardees. She recognized the leaders of the institutions that conferred this honor, esteemed members of the community, as well as the dedicated educators and family members whose steadfast support has empowered students to remain determined and pursue their educational goals. The scholarship not only acknowledges academic achievements but also serves as an impetus for future professional pursuits. Throughout their academic journey, the MUST provide a rich and diverse learning environment that fosters engagement with a variety of cultures and perspectives. The institution's curriculum is comprehensive, emphasizing both theoretical understanding and practical application, which enhances professional knowledge while nurturing critical thinking and independent thought, thereby fostering innovation and progress. This institution is not merely a place for aspirations; it is also a venue for transforming those aspirations into tangible realities.

The Scholarship and Grant Awards Presentation Ceremony for Institutional Scholarships is established to honor students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance. Representatives from the institutions that provide scholarships present awards to the recipients as a gesture of recognition and validation, thereby encouraging students to pursue ongoing academic excellence while simultaneously inspiring their peers to strive for improved achievements. Additionally, various awards from the University were presented during the Ceremony, including the Outstanding Cultural and Academic Award, Outstanding Community Service Award, Outstanding Sports Award, and the Student Handbook Cover Design Competition Award. These accolades aim to motivate students to achieve holistic development in conjunction with the acquisition of professional knowledge.

This year, MUST Art Troupe performed ethnic dances, culminating the award ceremony with enchanting melodies. The President of MUST, Chair Professor Joseph Hun-Wei LEE conferred certificates of appreciation to the representative of the organization that awarded scholarships for the first time. The scholarship award ceremony was successfully held.
