In order to celebrate the 24th anniversary of the Macau University of Science and Technology, to enhance the knowledge of nutrition and food of the University's faculty and students, and to lead them to a healthy lifestyle. With the support of the Student Affairs Office and the sponsorship of Guangzhou WANGLAOJI Great Health Industry Co., Ltd, the Nutrition Society of Students’ Union of M.U.S.T successfully concluded the “Nutrition Expo” on March 25th to 29th, 2024 at the 2nd floor platform of Block N.
The Nutrition Expo, presented in the form of posters. In addition to the posters, postcards and nutrition knowledge pamphlets were also made available on-site, providing visitors with more opportunities for interaction and learning. The Nutrition Expo themes covering Nutrition Living, Diverse Delicacies, and Healthy Guides for College Students. The posters content provided students and teachers with valuable nutrition-related knowledge on dietary health guidelines, chronic disease management, reassuring cuisines, superfoods, functional foods, and culinary adventures. At the same time, in conjunction with the nutrition cooking competition held earlier, the first six nutritional meal planning posters designed for diabetic patients were displayed.
The Nutrition Expo received unanimous praise from students during its exhibition period, with visitors appreciated for the insights gained on achieving healthy dietary goals. The Nutrition Society of Students’ Union of M.U.S.T. will continue to devote efforts to organizing more health education activities, helping students establish correct nutritional concepts and promoting the popularization of healthy lifestyles.
