Dormitory Vanguard Launches “Traffic Safety Week” to Promote Road Safety
To enhance the traffic safety awareness of students on campus and advocate the use of crosswalks when crossing the road, while always paying attention to road conditions, the “Dormitory Vanguard” of the Dormitory and Life Experience Team of the Student Affairs Office launched “Traffic Safety Week” on 14th April, 2025. The aim was to promote the importance of traffic safety and raise awareness among students.
Dormitory Vanguard Members Study Traffic Direction Techniques
During the “Traffic Safety Week,” the Student Affairs Office organized members of the Dormitory Vanguard to conduct traffic direction at various campus intersections during peak times when pedestrians and vehicles frequently enter and exit the campus. This initiative was designed to guide students into developing good habits for crossing the road. With the team members’ direction, vehicles were able to pass safely, and pedestrians effectively used the crosswalks to cross the road, making the process very smooth. The team members expressed that through the “Traffic Safety Week” activities, they not only improved their own traffic safety awareness but also actively promoted the importance of paying attention to traffic safety to their peers, emphasizing the need to be vigilant when crossing the road to avoid accidents.
