Safety Inspection Team Launches "Traffic Safety Week" to Advocate for Road Safety

In order to raise awareness of traffic safety among the faculty and students of Macao University of Science and Technology, and to encourage the use of appropriate crossing facilities while crossing the road, the Campus Safety Patrol Traffic Division has initiated a one-week "Traffic Safety Week" starting from March 20, 2023. The aim is to promote the importance of traffic safety and enhance traffic safety awareness.

During the "Traffic Safety Week," members of the Campus Safety Inspection Team were organized to conduct traffic control at various intersections on campus during the afternoon when there was a high frequency of people and vehicles entering and exiting the campus. They guided faculty and students to develop good habits for crossing the road. Pedestrians and vehicles followed the traffic division members' instructions, allowing vehicles to pass safely and pedestrians to effectively use the zebra crossings, making the process very smooth.
