2025-2026 Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Arrangements and "Gold Card" Application Guidelines

To All Students,

To expand the community immunity barrier and safeguard the health of residents, the Health Bureau tentatively plans to provide free seasonal influenza vaccination for students enrolled in Macao's higher education institutions (including non-resident students) starting from November. The relevant arrangements are as follows:

I. Vaccination Arrangements

  1. The University is expected to arrange an on-campus seasonal influenza vaccination session in November. For vaccination, please present your identification document, campus card, and your Heath Bureau Patient Card Number*. Please pay attention to further notices from the Student Affairs Office for details.

  2. Tentatively starting from November, students can also go to the Seac Pai Van Heath Bureau in Coloane to receive the seasonal influenza vaccine. Please follow the official announcements from the Health Bureau for the specific schedule.

※ Special Reminder: The Heath Bureau Patient Card (commonly known as the "Gold Card") serves as the identification number for the holder's medical records. After obtaining it, you can access Health Bureau medical services. Students who do not yet hold a Gold Card should apply for one at any Health Bureau before getting vaccinated. The application is free of charge.

II. "Gold Card" Application Information

  • Application Locations & Hours:

  1. Lobby of Conde de São Januário General Hospital Registration Office

    Office Hour: Monday to Friday, except government holidays, 08:30~21:00

  2. All Health Bureau (Please scan the QR code below to check specific addresses and office hours)

  • Required Documents:

  1. A duly completed application form;

  2. Copy of identity document (present the original; Macao non-resident students must also present a valid travel document or permanence authorization);

  3. Legible proof of address, either in Chinese or in Portuguese

Non-local students who require vaccination are advised to apply for the "Gold Card" in advance to ensure they can schedule their vaccination promptly.
