Residents participated in the Chinese Calligraphy Workshop to celebrate Chinese New Year together

In order to let residents to feel the festive atmosphere of the traditional Chinese New Year, the Dormitory and Life Experience Group of Student Affairs Office held a Chinese calligraphy workshop on the afternoon of 16th January, 2025. The purpose is to experience Chinese culture and feel the joyful atmosphere of the Chinese New Year.

 

Residents use their creativity to write blessing messages on Spring Festival couplets

Residents participated in the Chinese calligraphy workshop wrote New Year greetings on the Spring Festival couplets and used their creativity to draw their favorite patterns. The workshop not only allows residents to experience the charm of traditional Chinese culture, but also improved their writing skills and creative thinking. After completion, the New Year's couplets can be placed on the dormitory door to add the icing on the cake and create a strong New Year atmosphere for the entire dormitory.

The Student Affairs Office will continue to organize various traditional Chinese festival activities, hoping that students studying abroad can experience traditional Chinese culture through dormitory activities, while enhancing interaction with roommates, bringing teachers and students closer together, and enriching their accommodation life experience.
