On the afternoon of October 19, 2024, the MUST Social Service Team conducted a welcoming event entitled "Team Building Icebreaker Games" in room N101, which was attended by approximately 60 team members. The event effectively invigorated the participants, facilitating connections and the development of friendships among both new and existing members through engaging team-building activities. This initiative contributed to the enhancement of relationships among team and group members, resulting in a pleasurable afternoon for all involved.
During the event, the participants were organized into four groups to engage in a series of competitive activities. Initially, all groups convened for an introductory game titled "Name Chain," which served to foster camaraderie among members and facilitate mutual acquaintance under the facilitation of the host. The subsequent activities—namely "Pictionary," "Relay Gomoku," "Heart Knots," "Ball Passing," "Pipe Ball," and "Unstable Rods"—contributed to reinforcing team cohesion and enhancing collaborative skills. The atmosphere was characterized by laughter and enjoyment, as all participants actively engaged in the tasks, demonstrating their enthusiasm. At the conclusion of the event, scores from each game were compiled, culminating in a prize distribution ceremony. Each participant received a thoughtful gift, marking a high point in the event. Overall, the event concluded successfully and left a lasting impression on all involved.
Following the event, student Shi remarked, "This team-building activity enhanced my understanding of my teammates. Through participation in these games, I recognized the significance of teamwork. We not only acquired skills for more effective collaboration but also reinforced our friendships in a relaxed and enjoyable environment." This team-building initiative facilitated not only the development of friendships and a spirit of cooperation among the members of the SST but also fostered profound emotional connections, thereby establishing a robust foundation for future endeavors. It is anticipated that the SST will continue to strengthen and evolve through the collective contributions of all its members.
