In response to the World Mental Health Day celebrated on 10 October every year, the event aims to promote the characteristics and abilities of mentally recovered people to the community, to build a harmonious society, and to encourage people to live a friendly life. The "Trousers" for a new life - "Lions" for aspirations and love inheritance activity organized by Fu Hong Society of Macau was held at the MGM Grand Ballroom in Cotai on December 11, 2021. Five members of the MUST Social Service Team participated, who are Shi Yuxuan, Du Yuying from the School of Business, Chen Weilin from the Law Faculty, Ye Erxuan from the University International College, and Ma Lening from the School of Liberal Arts.

The event received support from all walks of life and attracted over 200 participants from 21 teams. The activity is combined with the concept of “recovery” , environmental protection and artistic elements with are added to make the activity eventful. "Recovery" allows people to have a fulfilling, promising, and contributing life, even if the limitations of the disease still exist, through "Recovery", people recovering from mental illness can regain a new understanding of themselves from recovery to physical and mental health. Under the guidance of the instructors, the social service team members of MUST and the representatives of the Macau Special Olympics worked together to create a unique and meaningful painting by recycling denim fabric and assembling it with different positive energy patterns. During the production process, everyone actively participated and contributed to making the perfect work.
At the end of the activity, the participating team members said that the activity was both environmentally friendly and fashionable, as it was an educational and interesting experience, and also experienced the fun of handicrafts. Meanwhile, they deeply felt the concept of integration between the disabled and the healthy, and the importance of building a harmonious society, which called on more people to pay attention to mental health issues and create a harmonious and beautiful healthy society together.
