Dormitory Vanguard Visiting Judiciary Police Station

In order to learn the daily operations and functional structure of the Judiciary Police in Macau, enhance students' knowledge of new types of fraud, and improve their awareness of fraud, the "Dormitory Vanguard" of the Dormitory and Live Experience Team of the Student Affairs Office organized a visit to the headquarters of the Judiciary Police of Macao on 20th March, 2025. The atmosphere was lively, effectively promoted communication and interaction between the police and the public.

The activity began with a tour of the headquarters' exhibition hall, led by the representative from the Judiciary Police. Through special lectures and interactive displays, the police officers provided detailed introductions to common crimes in Macao in recent years, such as telecommunications fraud, cyberattacks, and drug offenses. They also demonstrated how to use technological means to collect evidence and apprehend suspects by using real-life cases.

The members of the "Dormitory Vanguard " said that this activity allowed them to understand the daily equipment and details of the work of criminal investigators. They also gained a deep understanding of the workflow of the reporting and emergency action center. Through this visit, they recognized the professionalism and technological nature of the Judiciary Police and learned many practical anti-fraud skills. The Student Affairs Office will continue to hold similar activities to enhance students' knowledge of the law and strengthen their awareness of crime and fraud prevention.
