Walk For A Million
The "Walks for Millions 2025," organized by the Charity Fund of the Readers of Macao Daily News, saw a remarkable turnout and fundraising initiative from the faculty and students of the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST). On December 14, 2025, Vice President Dr. Kwong Ying Wa spearheaded a group of more than 400 faculty members, students, and alumni in this charitable walking event. Furthermore, the MUST Arts Troupe was dispatched to perform over 20 performances on the main stage with a fifty-members-group, offering support to all participating teams along the route and enhancing the event's lively atmosphere.

Energy and Smiles of MUSTers
In this activity, faculty and students from the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) actively participated in a four-kilometer walk to support charitable initiatives, collectively advancing the cause. Their involvement has notably inspired the entire university community to engage in charitable activities, demonstrating the commitment of faculty and students to the welfare of marginalized groups within society. Looking forward, we anticipate an increase in participation from faculty and students, thereby further enhancing the university's contribution to the promotion of charitable efforts in Macao.
On December 5th of 2025, a cheque donation ceremony was held, during which Supervisor of the Student Affairs Office Ms. Tam, Kit Leng, Mentor Mr. Chan Ka Pou and Team Leader of the Social Service Team Wang Yimin presented a donation of MOP 100,000. This amount was raised by the staff, students, members of the MUST Alumni Federation, and personnel from the University Hospital, and was donated to the Readers' Charity Foundation of Macau –Daily.

Preparations for the "Walks for Millions 2025" event were previously underway at the MUST. The Social Service Team, operating under the Student Affairs Office, established fundraising booths for a charity sale in the lobbies of the building B and N libraries from November 27 to 28. The charity sale garnered considerable attention and engagement from numerous students, thereby increasing awareness of the importance and value of the Walks for Millions and charitable endeavors. Participants expressed that they derived significant benefits from their involvement in this charitable event.
