Application for “Dr. Liu Chak Wan Scholarships” at Queens’ College, University of Cambridge for 2027/2028
To Potential Graduates for Bachelor Programs,
Macau University of Science and Technology has partnered with University of Cambridge to offer the “Dr. Liu Chak Wan Scholarships” from 2024/2025, to support three graduates of MUST to undertake Master Degrees at Queens’ College, University of Cambridge each year. The scholarships are made possible thanks to the generosity of MUST’s Chancellor, Dr. Liu Chak Wan.
Application for “Dr. Liu Chak Wan Scholarships” in 2027/2028 is now open. Applicants must be graduates (including potential graduates) of MUST and must be applying to undertake any qualifying Master’s degree offered by Queens’ College at the University of Cambridge. All applicants should apply to the University of Cambridge under the standard procedures for graduate degrees for 2027/2028 for their eligible programme of study by 30th April 2027 at 3 p.m.(online application form)[2]. (Note: Scholarship recipients must conduct their postgraduate study at Queens’ College and (normally) should have put Queens’ as their first-choice College.)

Queens’ goal is to enable a cohort of MUST students across the years to study in Cambridge, further enriching academic life in College and enabling a wider pool of individuals to study at the University. There have now been two Dr Liu Chak Wan Scholars, Rachel Deng (Queens’ College 2024) and Audrey Sun (Queens’ College 2025) complete their qualifications. In addition, Chen Kexin, who received the Dr. Liu Chak Wan Scholarship to study for a Master of Philosophy in Finance at University of Cambridge this year, has safely arrived at Queen’s College and begun another stage of her studies.
