On May 9th 2021, the 2020/2021 annual summary ceremony of MUST Social Service Team supervised by the Student Affairs Office was successfully held in the morning at O301. The head of the Student Affairs Office, Ms. Wong Ka Weng, the assistant executive officer Ms. Tam Kit Leng, the mentors Ms. Hao Chi Wan, Mr. Tam Weng Fong and more than 40 members of the Social Service Team attended the ceremony.
In the summary ceremony, Ms. Wong affirmed the activities and achievements of the Social Service Team in the past year and praised the members for their effort and hard work. She also expressed her expectations for the team members to gain awareness in the campus and in daily life. She thought that members should be thoughtful, helpful, and contribute more to the society. Hopefully, they can gradually nurture good values and promote their all-round development during the social services. In the end, she said that the team members should cherish the prime of youth, treasuring while behaving.

During the ceremony, guided by the hostess, team members reviewed the activities held by the Social Service Team in the past academic year. In terms of volunteer services and public fund-raising activities, there are「SST Welcome Day」,「Booth Fundraising in Caritas Macau Charity Bazaar」, 「Booth Fundraising in ‘Walk for millions’」,「Visiting the Centro Diurno Prazer para Idosos da Associação Geral das Mulheres de Macau」,「‘Peng On Tung’ Visiting Seniors」activities,「Volunteer Visiting to Stray Cats and Dogs」and「The Blind Experiencing Project」; In terms of environmental protection projects, a series of environmental protection activities were held in April, there are「Handmade Environmental-Friendly Bag」project,「Coffee Grounds for Papermaking」project,「“Eco-Friendly Dish Soap”」activity and「“Ecological Guided Tour of Mangrove” activity」. The above series of environmental protection activities were unanimously affirmed and appreciated by students.
Afterwards, the principal and vice leaders and outstanding members of the Social Service Team came on stage to deliver speeches. Team leader Lin Yunyi said that her four-year time in the Social Service Team was the most profound experience in her college life. She has learned a lot from the process of being a team member to the team leader, which will be a valuable experience for her future. She also hopes that everyone can step out of their comfort zone and dare to experience and make mistakes. Vice-captain Zhou fan shared that empathy is the most valuable thing she learned in the Social Service Team, which enables her to stand in others’ shoes, think comprehensively, and discover different viewpoints. Vice-captain Tang wenle showed a creative umbrella of environmental protection. She hopes that team members can make a breakthrough in creativity in the next year's activities and wishes the team and its members a bright future. Vice-captain Lin Yongyao said that “Although we come from different places and have different experiences, we are together in the Social Service Team of MUST. I hope we cherish our friendship and help the Social Service Team become better than ever together.”

Chen Wei Lin, an excellent team member from the planning group, shared that participating in the activities can make her achieve a great sense of achievement. By communicating with different people and groups, she has gained a new perspective of looking at this world. She also used a sentence she appreciates "I try my best to finish my work, stick to what I love, and leave some traces in my energetic years, I've tried my best in every stage of my life. "to encourage the team members to devote themselves to their work; Gong Yi Ming, who from the Interviewing and editing group talked about the Social Service Team gave him a chance to communicate with a group of strangers and a new city. He shared his growing process and novel experience in this community. He wished all members can find ample scope for their abilities in the Social Service Team.
Wang Zhuo Hui, who from the environmental protection group---said that they encountered lots of difficulties during planning the activity. However, it was very gratifying that team members can work together and have their efforts to solve the problems. They gradually found the reason of staying in the Social Service Team. She hoped to make more progress with other members in this big family.

Seven members of the Social Service Team shared their experiences and feelings of community life and expressed their gratitude to the tutors and team members. In addition, the service hours of each team member in the past academic year and the names of the team leaders and vice team leaders in the next academic year were announced in the ceremony. In the summary ceremony, team members shared their experience of participating in the rewarding activities of the Social Service Team in the past year. They also realized their responsibilities and directions of their future more clearly.
Finally, before the conclusion of the ceremony, the Student Affairs Office invited 43 team members to participate in the lucky draw of moral education activities in the 20 / 21 academic year, in order to reward students who have actively participated in these moral education activities in the past academic year. During the lucky draw, the head of the Student Affairs Office Ms. Wong Ka Weng, the assistant executive officer Ms. Tam Kit Leng and team leader Lin Yun Yi of the Social Service Team were invited to draw 70 third prizes, 15 second prizes and 5 first prizes.
